Thank you for using "DBLens". This Privacy Policy applies to the DBLens products and services we provide to you.

This Privacy Policy mainly explains how your data and personal information are collected and stored, how we ensure their security, and other matters you may be concerned about. Clauses that are (potentially) of significant relevance to your rights and interests have been distinguished using red font or bold font, so please review them carefully.

Unless otherwise specified in this Privacy Policy, DBLens will not use or share your information with any third party without your prior consent.

DBLens may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When you click to check the box on the page stating "I have read and agree to the User Agreement and Privacy Policy", it means you have read, understood, and agreed to all the contents of this Privacy Policy and authorized us to collect relevant information.

About This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is deemed a supplementary agreement to the DBLens User Agreement, an integral part thereof, and forms a unified whole with it. You shall comply with both agreements. Relevant terms involved in this Privacy Policy are expressed as concisely as possible to facilitate your better understanding. When you start using our products and/or services, or continue to use them after we update the Privacy Policy (we will promptly notify you of the update), it means you agree to the contents of this Privacy Policy (including updated versions) and agree that we collect, use, store, and share your relevant information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Before using our products and/or services, please carefully read and confirm that you have fully understood the contents specified in this Privacy Policy and accept all clauses. If you do not agree to any of the following contents, please immediately stop accessing/using DBLens services.

I. How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information

Personal information refers to various types of information recorded electronically or by other means that can identify a specific natural person individually or in combination with other information, or reflect the activities of a specific natural person.

Sensitive personal information refers to personal information that may endanger personal and property safety if leaked, illegally provided, or abused, and may easily cause damage to personal reputation, physical and mental health, or discriminatory treatment. It includes ID card numbers, personal biometric information, communication records and content, property information, location traces, health and physiological information, transaction information, etc.

We will list the collected personal information in Appendix II attached to this Privacy Policy for your convenience to inquire.

To provide you with the functions of our products and/or services, you may choose to authorize us to collect and use necessary information. If you refuse to provide the aforementioned necessary information, you will not be able to use the relevant functions of our products and/or services normally, but it will not affect your normal use of other functions. We promise to collect and use the information you proactively provide or generate due to service usage only for the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy, in accordance with the principles of "legality, legitimacy, and necessity", to provide you with services, optimize our services, and ensure the security of your account. During this process, if you have any questions, opinions, or suggestions, you can send an email to support@dblens.com, and we will contact you as soon as possible.

(I) Situations Where You Need to Authorize Us to Collect and Use Your Personal Information

Our products and/or services include some core functions, which are necessary for using the DBLens system. If you do not provide relevant information, you will not be able to enjoy the products and/or services we provide. These functions include:

1. Functions Necessary for Using the DBLens System

· User Registration and Login

When you complete registration through the official website to become our user or log in to DBLens through the client, you need to provide an email address, mobile phone number, and password to register and create a DBLens account. We will verify the validity of your identity by sending an email verification. If you refuse to provide this information, you may not be able to use our services normally. After logging in with your DBLens account, you can set and modify your account name and avatar information by yourself; this information is your "account information". Please note that if you do not provide an account name, you will not be able to use the system normally.

· User Device Information

To protect the security of your account, accurately identify and prevent attacks, and realize the security guarantee function of this application service, we will collect device information about your use of our products and/or services (including device model, operating system, unique device identifier, login IP address, method, type, and status of accessing the network, network quality data, operation logs, service log information, and location information) to improve the security of the system when you use our products and/or services, and more accurately prevent fraud and protect the security of your account.

Please note that individual device information, browser type, or only search keyword information cannot identify your identity and does not belong to your personal information; we have the right to use it. Only when your device information, browser type, or search keyword information is used in combination with your other information and can identify your identity, during the combined use period, we will treat your device information, browser type, or search keyword information as your personal information and process and protect it in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

· Network Information

The normal use of DBLens requires your consent to obtain permission to access the network (mobile data network or WLAN network). For the fees incurred during use, you can consult your local operator. You will not be able to use our functions normally without a network connection.

· Customer Service and After-Sales Functions

When you contact our customer service or relevant service staff to use our customer service and after-sales functions, to ensure the security of your account, our customer service will use your account information and order information to verify your identity with you. When you need us to provide customer service and after-sales services related to your order information, we may inquire about your order information. If you proactively request customer service to assist you in modifying relevant information, you may also need to provide other information in addition to the above to complete the modification.

2. Functions Necessary for Ensuring Account Security

To improve the security of the system when you use our products and/or services, and more accurately prevent phishing website fraud and protect account security, we may collect information about your commonly used software and device information by understanding your browsing information to determine the risk of your account. We will also collect your device information to analyze problems with this application system, count traffic, and investigate potential risks, and conduct investigations when you choose to send abnormal information to us.

(II) Situations Where You May Voluntarily Choose to Provide Personal Information

  1. (1) To make your use of the product more convenient, our following extended functions may collect and use your personal information. If you do not provide this personal information, you can still use our product, but you may not be able to use our extended functions, which may affect the efficiency of your product use.

    (2) Based on the following special business scenarios, we will collect your relevant information. If you do not provide this information, you can still use our product, but some related functions may be affected (see Appendix 2 for details):

    • Business scenario: Required for product security and experience optimization;
      • Collection method: Information collected by us;
      • Information type: Device model, operating system, unique device identifier, login IP address, method of accessing the network, network quality data, operation logs, service log information, and location information.
    • Business scenario: Pushing business messages to users;
      • Collection method: Information collected by us;
      • Information type: Android/iOS ID/Windows/Mac.
  2. Some extended functions may require you to enable access permissions for the camera and photo album (image library) on your device for us to collect and use the information involved in these functions. You can check the status of these permissions through the settings page of your device system and can enable or disable these permissions at any time.

  3. Please note that enabling these permissions means you authorize us to collect and use this personal information to realize the above functions; disabling the permissions means you revoke these authorizations, and we will no longer continue to collect and use this personal information of yours, nor can we provide you with the above functions corresponding to these authorizations. Your decision to disable permissions will not affect the processing of personal information based on your previous authorizations.

  1. Related to national security and national defense security;
  2. Related to public security, public health, and major public interests, or necessary in emergency situations to protect the life, health, and property safety of natural persons;
  3. Related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments;
  4. Necessary to safeguard the major legitimate rights and interests of the subject of personal information or other individuals, but it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual;
  5. The involved personal information is publicly disclosed by the subject of personal information or their guardian to the public;
  6. Collecting your personal information from legally publicly disclosed information, such as legal news reports, government information disclosure, and other channels;
  7. Necessary for signing and performing a contract at your request, or for implementing human resource management in accordance with legally formulated labor rules and regulations and legally signed collective contracts;
  8. Necessary for performing statutory duties or obligations;
  9. Necessary for maintaining the safe and stable operation of the provided products and/or services, such as detecting and handling faults of the products and/or services;
  10. Processing personal information within a reasonable scope for the purpose of conducting news reports and public opinion supervision for the public interest;
  11. Academic research institutions conducting statistics or academic research based on public interests, and de-identifying the personal information contained in the results when providing academic research or descriptive results to the public;
  12. Other situations stipulated by laws and administrative regulations.

(IV) Rules for Using Your Personal Information

  1. We will use the collected personal information in accordance with the provisions of this Privacy Policy to realize the functions of our products and/or services.

  2. After collecting your personal information, we will de-identify the information through technical means, and the de-identified information will no longer be able to identify the subject. Please understand and agree that in this case, we have the right to use the de-identified information; and without disclosing your personal information, we have the right to analyze the user database and use it for internal research and analysis of the company to provide you with better services.

  3. Please understand and agree that unless you delete the information or refuse us to collect it through system settings, all personal information you provide when using our products and/or services will be deemed as your continuous authorization for us to use it during your use of our products and/or services. When you contact support@dblens.com to request permanent deletion of information, we will stop using and permanently delete your personal information.

  4. We will statistics on the usage of our products and/or services and may share these statistical information with the public or third parties to show the overall usage trend of our products and/or services. However, this statistical information does not contain any of your identity identification information.

  5. When we display your personal information, we will desensitize your information through methods such as content replacement and anonymization to protect the security of your information.

  6. Separate Consent When we need to use your personal information for other purposes not specified in this Privacy Policy, or use personal information collected for specific purposes for other purposes, we will obtain your explicit consent in advance. Please understand that the products and/or services we provide to you will be continuously updated and changed. If you choose to use other products and/or services not listed in this Privacy Policy, we will explain the purpose, method, and scope of information collection to you in detail through agreements, page prompts, masks, pop-ups, and other methods before collecting your personal information and request your consent. When you check the consent box, it means you have read, understood, and agreed. If you refuse to provide the aforementioned information, you may not be able to use the product and/or service, but it will not affect your use of existing products and/or services.

(V) Your Management of Personal Information

You can manage your personal information in multiple ways, such as modifying your personal information. If you encounter problems when managing your personal information, you can also contact us via support@DBLens.com, and we will respond to your request as soon as possible. However, please also understand that we may not be able to fully meet your request due to the need to fulfill legal obligations or provide services.

II. How We Use Cookies

(I) Use of Cookies

  1. When you access this application or use the services provided by this application, we will send one or more small data files called Cookies to your computer or mobile device to identify your identity, help you avoid repeatedly entering registration information, or help determine the security status of your account. These data files may be Cookies, Flash Cookies, or other local storage provided by your browser or associated applications (hereinafter referred to as Cookies). Please understand that the Cookies assigned to you are unique and can only be read by the web server in the domain that issued the Cookies to you. We send you Cookies to simplify the steps of repeated login and help determine your login status and account or data security.

  2. We will not use Cookies for any purposes other than those stated in this Privacy Policy. You can manage or delete Cookies according to your preferences. You can clear all Cookies stored on your computer; most web browsers automatically accept Cookies, but you can usually modify your browser settings to refuse Cookies; in addition, you can also clear all Cookies stored in the software. However, if you do this, you may need to manually change user settings every time you access this application website, and all corresponding information you previously recorded will be deleted, which may have a certain impact on the security of the services you use.

(II) Use of SDKs

  1. To ensure the stable operation and function implementation of DBLens and enable you to use and enjoy more services and functions, our application will embed SDKs or other similar applications of authorized partners. You can view the details of all SDKs of authorized partners we have accessed in Appendix I attached to this Privacy Policy. We will conduct strict security inspections on the application programming interfaces (APIs) and software development kits (SDKs) used by authorized partners to obtain relevant information, and agree on strict data protection measures with authorized partners, requiring them to process personal information in accordance with this Policy and other relevant confidentiality and security measures.

  2. Please note that the developer documents or personal information protection policies/privacy policy pages in the links attached in Appendix I are created and published by the corresponding SDK developers/providers. The relevant SDK developers/providers may change or adjust the links and the content of the linked web pages within the scope permitted by law. Please refer to the latest links and linked web page content published by the relevant SDK developers/providers. Since some SDK developers/providers do not provide online documents, we cannot provide links to the development documents or corresponding personal information protection policies/privacy policies of all third-party SDKs.

III. How We Share, Transfer, and Publicly Disclose Your Personal Information

(I) Sharing

  1. We will not share your personal information with any company, organization, or individual other than DBLens, except in the following cases: (1) Obtaining your explicit consent or authorization in advance; (2) Providing it as required by applicable laws and regulations, legal procedures, or mandatory administrative or judicial requirements; (3) Within the scope permitted by laws and regulations, it is necessary to provide it to safeguard the interests, property, or safety of this application, its affiliates or partners, you, other users of this application, or the public; (4) Only by sharing your personal information can the core functions of our products and/or services be realized or the services you need be provided; (5) Handling disputes or conflicts between you and others at your request; (6) Providing in accordance with the agreement signed with you (including the electronically signed agreement and the corresponding platform rules) or other legal documents; (7) Using it for academic research; (8) Using it based on the public interest in accordance with laws and regulations.

  2. To provide services to you, we may share your order information, account information, device information, and location information with third parties such as partners who assist us in operating, improving, integrating, customizing, supporting, and providing marketing services, so as to ensure the smooth delivery of the services provided to you. However, we will only share your personal information for legal, legitimate, necessary, specific, and clear purposes, and will only share the personal information necessary for service provision. At the same time, we will conduct strict supervision and management of our partners; if any violation of personal information processing regulations by them is discovered, we will immediately terminate the cooperation and pursue their legal responsibilities. If our affiliated parties need to change the purpose of personal information processing, they will seek your authorization and consent again.

  3. Our partners include the following types: (1) Suppliers of goods or technical services. We may share your personal information with suppliers that support our functions. Such support includes providing infrastructure technical services, payment services, data processing, etc. These suppliers will process personal information for us in accordance with our instructions, this Privacy Policy, and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures. The purpose of sharing this information is to realize the core functions of our products and/or services. For example, we must cooperate with third-party communication service providers to complete verification using the verification code you receive when resetting your password.

(2) Affiliated companies. We may share your personal information with companies owned or operated by us. To improve products and services and provide you with other affiliated services, we also share the information we collect with affiliated companies.

(3) Others. In the event of a company sale, merger, reorganization, dissolution, similar events, or reasonable and necessary steps taken for such events (e.g., due diligence in transactions), we may also disclose your personal information. We may also disclose information about you if we determine that such disclosure is necessary or appropriate for national security, law enforcement, or other matters of public importance, or where there is a legal basis for disclosure.

  1. For companies, organizations, and individuals with whom we share personal information, we will sign strict confidentiality agreements with them, requiring them to process personal information in accordance with our instructions, this Privacy Policy, and any other relevant confidentiality and security measures. They shall not use the personal information we share for their own purposes; once they have fulfilled our requirements, they must delete or return such information.

  2. To comply with laws, enforce or apply our terms of use and other agreements, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of this Application, you, or other DBLens users (e.g., to prevent fraudulent and other illegal activities and reduce credit risks), we may exchange information with other companies and organizations. However, this does not include the sale, rental, sharing, or other disclosure of personal information for profit purposes in violation of the commitments made in this Privacy Policy.

(II) Transfer

We will not transfer your personal information to any company, organization, or individual, except in the following cases:

  1. Obtaining your explicit consent or authorization in advance;
  2. Providing it as required by applicable laws and regulations, legal procedures, or mandatory administrative or judicial requirements;
  3. Providing it in accordance with the relevant agreements signed with you (including electronically signed agreements and corresponding platform rules) or other legal document agreements;
  4. In the event of a merger, acquisition, asset transfer, or similar transaction, if personal information transfer is involved, we will require the new company or organization that holds your personal information to continue to be bound by this Privacy Policy; otherwise, we will require such company or organization to seek your authorization and consent again.

(III) Public Disclosure

We will only publicly disclose your personal information under the following circumstances and on the premise of adopting security protection measures that meet industry standards:

  1. Disclosing the specific personal information you specify in the disclosure method you explicitly agree to, in accordance with your needs;
  2. When required by laws, regulations, mandatory administrative law enforcement, or judicial requirements to provide your personal information, we may publicly disclose your personal information in accordance with the required type of personal information and disclosure method. On the premise of complying with laws and regulations, when we receive a request for such information disclosure, we will require the submission of corresponding legal documents, such as a subpoena or investigation letter. We firmly believe that the information requested from us should be as transparent as possible within the scope permitted by law. We carefully review all requests to ensure they have a legal basis and are limited to data that law enforcement agencies are legally entitled to obtain for specific investigation purposes. Where permitted by laws and regulations, the documents we disclose are protected by encryption keys.

IV. How We Protect and Store Your Personal Information

(I) Technologies and Measures for Protecting Your Personal Information

We attach great importance to personal information security and take all reasonable and feasible measures to protect your personal information. We have adopted a systematic security strategy, defining boundaries, responsibilities, and comprehensive solutions from multiple dimensions such as business scenarios, codes, and infrastructure to ensure a sound security architecture and strive to provide you with effective security protection.

  1. Business scenarios: Refers to security design for business scenarios, such as permission control and desensitization of sensitive business data. For identified reasonable business security requirements, we will design and implement solutions in accordance with business security standards.

  2. Codes: Refers to ensuring that our codes are free from exploitable vulnerabilities, such as XSS (Cross-Site Scripting) and SQL injection. For identified code vulnerabilities, we will respond with the highest priority.

  3. Infrastructure: Refers to the security of infrastructure such as servers and databases. Backend data of these infrastructures shall not be randomly viewed, accessed, or tampered with. For the on-premises deployment version, we will provide security recommendations, but your cooperation is also required to meet security requirements.

  4. We only allow employees and partners of this Application and its affiliated parties who have a necessary need to know such information to access personal information, and have established strict access permission controls and monitoring mechanisms for this purpose. We also require all personnel who may have access to your personal information to fulfill corresponding confidentiality obligations. Failure to fulfill these obligations may result in legal liability or termination of the cooperative relationship with DBLens.

  5. We will take all reasonable and feasible measures to ensure that no irrelevant personal information is collected.

  6. The Internet is not an absolutely secure environment, and communication methods with other users (such as email, instant messaging, and social software) cannot be guaranteed to be fully encrypted. We recommend that you use complex passwords when using such tools and pay attention to protecting the security of your personal information. When conducting online transactions of products and/or services with third parties through DBLens, you will inevitably need to disclose your personal information (such as contact information or postal address) to the transaction counterparty or potential transaction counterparty. Please properly protect your personal information and only provide it to others when necessary.

  7. Security incident handling: To address potential risks such as personal information leakage, damage, and loss, DBLens has formulated a number of systems, clarifying the classification and grading standards for security incidents and vulnerabilities as well as corresponding handling procedures. DBLens has also established a dedicated emergency response team, which will activate security plans for different security incidents in accordance with security incident handling specifications to stop losses, conduct analysis and positioning, formulate remedial measures, and collaborate with relevant departments to trace the source and combat violations. In the event of a personal information security incident, we will promptly notify you in accordance with legal requirements, including: the basic situation of the security incident and its potential impact, the disposal measures we have taken or will take, suggestions for you to independently prevent and reduce risks, and remedial measures for you. At the same time, we will promptly notify you of relevant incident details via email, letter, phone call, push notification, or other methods. If it is difficult to notify each individual information subject one by one, we will issue an announcement through reasonable and effective means. Additionally, we will proactively report the handling of personal information security incidents to regulatory authorities in accordance with their requirements.

  8. If you have any questions about our personal information protection, you can contact us via support@dblens.com. If you discover that your personal information has been leaked, especially if your account and password have been compromised, please contact us immediately via support@dblens.com so that we can take corresponding measures.

(II) Storage of Your Personal Information

  1. Your personal information is stored within the territory of the People's Republic of China. If you use cross-border transaction services and need to transmit your personal information overseas to complete the transaction, we will separately obtain your authorization and consent and require the recipient to process such personal information in accordance with our instructions, this Privacy Policy, and any other relevant confidentiality and security measures.

  2. During your use of our products and/or services, your personal information will be stored for a period necessary to achieve the purposes stated in this Policy, and the storage period will also be determined based on your needs. We will delete your personal information or conduct anonymization processing in accordance with your request.

  3. Please note that after you delete relevant information on your own, due to applicable legal and security technology limitations, we may not be able to immediately delete the corresponding backup information from the backup system. We will securely store your personal information and restrict any further processing of it until the backup can be deleted or anonymized. When you contact us to request permanent deletion of personal information, we will delete it completely and permanently. Please note that you should carefully submit a permanent deletion request, as once deleted, DBLens will not be able to recover the information, and you shall bear all consequences and liabilities arising from the deletion.

  4. If you need to delete and/or anonymize data during use, you must submit a written application to DBLens. DBLens will take reasonable measures to delete and/or anonymize your data from systems and records. To ensure security, DBLens will process your application only after verifying your identity and will complete the corresponding data deletion and/or anonymization within 30 days.

  5. When the service period expires, the service is terminated in advance (including but not limited to early termination by mutual agreement of both parties, early termination due to other reasons, etc.), or you are in arrears with fees, DBLens will automatically downgrade your account to the Team Edition. Except as explicitly stipulated by laws and regulations, required by competent authorities, or agreed otherwise by both parties, for Team Edition customers who have not logged in for 365 consecutive days, DBLens will delete your business data within 30 days.

  6. If we terminate our services or operations, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance and delete or anonymize your personal information after terminating the services or operations.

V. How You Can Manage Your Personal Information

This Application attaches great importance to your attention to personal information and makes every effort to protect your rights to access, correct, delete, and withdraw consent regarding your personal information, enabling you to fully protect your privacy and security. Your rights include:

1. Accessing and Correcting Your Personal Information

Except as stipulated by laws and regulations, you have the right to access and correct your personal information at any time, including the following specific items: (1) You can log in to DBLens at any time to query, correct, or delete your account information:

  • You can click your "avatar" on the homepage to enter the personal information page to query information, modify your avatar, and username;
  • You can click "Forgot Password" on the login page to reset your login password.

(2) If you need to access or correct other personal information generated during your use of our products and/or services, please contact us at any time. We will respond to your request in accordance with the methods and time limits specified in this Privacy Policy.

2. Deleting Your Personal Information

You can directly clear or delete information on the product and/or service pages of our Application. In the following circumstances, you can submit a request for permanent deletion of personal information to us via support@dblens.com: (1) If our processing of personal information violates laws and regulations; (2) If we collect or use your personal information without obtaining your consent; (3) If our processing of personal information violates the agreement with you; (4) If we terminate our services and operations; (5) Other circumstances where you believe permanent deletion is necessary.

If we decide to respond to your deletion request, we will also notify the entities that have obtained your personal information from us and require them to delete it promptly, unless otherwise stipulated by laws and regulations or these entities have obtained your independent authorization. If we respond to your deletion request, we cannot guarantee the immediate deletion of the corresponding information from the backup system, but such information will be deleted when the backup system is updated. Please note that once information is permanently deleted, it cannot be recovered.

You can change the scope of your authorization for us to continue collecting personal information or withdraw your authorization by deleting information, disabling device functions, modifying personal settings on the DBLens website or software, or disabling the permissions you have authorized in the "Permission Management" section of your mobile phone. You can also withdraw all authorizations for us to continue collecting your personal information by canceling your account.

Operation path: You can go to "Settings" > "Apps" > "Permission Management" on your device, select "this Application", and set permissions for location, camera, notifications, and calendar information to withdraw the permissions you have authorized.

Please understand that each business function requires certain basic personal information to be completed. After you withdraw your consent or authorization, we will no longer be able to provide you with the services corresponding to the withdrawn consent or authorization, nor will we further process your corresponding personal information. However, your decision to withdraw consent or authorization will not affect the personal information processing conducted based on your previous authorization.

4. Responding to Your Requests

If you cannot access, correct, or delete your personal information through the above methods, or if you need to access, correct, or delete other personal information generated during your use of our products and/or services, or if you believe this Application has violated laws and regulations or the agreement with you regarding the collection or use of personal information, you can contact us by sending an email to support@dblens.com or calling +8613113743574. To ensure security, we may require you to submit a written request or provide your identification documents. We will respond to your request within 15 working days after receiving your feedback and verifying your identity.

In the following circumstances, in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements, we will not be able to respond to your request: (1) Related to the performance of legal obligations by the personal information controller; (2) Related to national security and national defense security; (3) Related to public security, public health, and major public interests; (4) Related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments; (5) There is sufficient evidence to prove that you have subjective malicious intent or abuse your rights; (6) Necessary to safeguard the major legitimate rights and interests (such as life and property) of the personal information subject or other individuals, but it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual; (7) Responding to your request will cause serious harm to the legitimate rights and interests of you, other individuals, or organizations; (8) Involving trade secrets.

VI. Protection of Minors' Information

We attach great importance to the protection of minors' personal information. If you are a minor under the age of 14, you must obtain the consent of your guardian in advance before using DBLens; if you are a minor aged 14 or above but under 18, you must obtain the consent of yourself or your guardian in advance before using DBLens. If we learn that we have collected personal information of a child under the age of 14, we will take all reasonable steps to delete the relevant information as soon as possible. If you are the guardian of a minor and find that the minor under your guardianship has used our services or provided personal information to us without your consent, please contact us immediately via support@dblens.com.

VII. Notifications and Revisions

  1. To provide you with better services and in line with the development of DBLens' business, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
